Sky Princess is the newest addition to the Princess fleet. The ship brings the distinctive, contemporary design and luxurious attractions of Princesses Royal-class ships to even loftier heights. The ship boasts the most exciting entertainment venues yet, the newest dining choices and award-winning chef partnerships, as well as more staterooms than ever to relax in.
This ship is the first vessel built from the ground up with the Princess Medallion Class experience—a personalized and hassle-free vacation. Each passenger is given a poker chip-size, RFID-tagged “medallion” that lets the ship know your location. More than 7,000 sensors embedded around the vessel pick up the signals emitted by the medallions. Issued before boarding, your cabin door will magically unlock as you approach it. Other features, such as the app-based ordering, are game-changing. You can order your favorite drink and because the ship knows where you are, they will deliver it to you!
The ship has two twin Sky Suites over the main pool area on the top of the ship. Measuring more than 1,800 square feet a piece, these are by far the biggest suites ever on a Princess ship. The Sky Suite has two bedrooms plus a living room with a pullout sofa, they’re designed for up to five people. They both have giant wrap around balconies.
On the pool deck, guests will find two large pools, as well as three hot tubs, expanded lounge areas: and a relocated Sea View bar.
On board, cruisers have their choice of nine inclusive dining venues and five specialty options. In the main dining room, passengers can choose between a set dinner time every evening or the line's Anytime Dining option, which will allow them to dine whenever they want. You'll also find a complimentary buffet, a pizzeria, a seafood bar, a gelateria and afternoon tea. For a specialty dining experience, consider the intimate Chef's Table Lumiere or Bistro Sur La Mer by Emmanuel Renaut, a three-starred Michelin chef.
Highlights include a multi-story, piazza-style atrium, specialty restaurants such as Crown Grill and Sabatini's Italian Trattoria, a recreation area, The Sanctuary and the open-air cinema Movies under the Stars.
