Silversea Cruises

What is different about Silversea?

Silversea’s small luxury ships are designed for those who delight in the thrill of discovery while indulging mind and body in the most lavish surroundings imaginable. All accommodations are spacious, ocean-view suites that include butler service, and most include private verandas.

Silversea voyages and cruise expeditions sail to over 800 destinations on all seven continents. Their intimate, ultra-luxury ships can sail up narrow waterways into the heart of a city, or tie up right at the pier while others must anchor off shore. And for those who yearn to explore the new and unknown, Silversea Expeditions can transport you to the furthermost boundaries of the planet.

Renowned for culinary excellence and innovative spirit, Silversea’s luxury cruises offer a choice of open-seating dining options throughout the fleet, as well as several specialty venues aboard all non-expedition ships.

Guests enjoy the ease, convenience and value of an all-inclusive cruise fare that includes almost all of your discretionary onboard expenses.

In a world of multi-national conglomerates, Silversea Cruises is owned and operated by the Lefebvre family of Rome. This means genuine pride in ownership and a true Italian passion for embracing the best of life. And it also means a deep, personal commitment to maintain the high standards of cruise excellence that have been the cornerstone of Silversea from the very beginning.

Is Silversea right for you?

Silversea appeals to well-traveled, affluent couples of all ages who enjoy superior service, a subdued atmosphere and destination intense itineraries. Most guests are 50 plus and retired.

Silversea is an adult oriented cruise line offering a limited number of suites that can accommodate 3 guests. A youth program is available on holiday and select sailings, otherwise there are no dedicated children’s facilities, so it is up to the parents to keep them entertained.

There are two formal nights on each standard 7-night cruise and up to four on the longer cruises depending on the itinerary. Men are required to wear a tux or a dark suit after 6pm. Women wear cocktail dresses or evening gowns. All other evenings are elegant casual – dress pants with a jacket over a sweater or a shirt for men: and sundresses, skirts or pants with a sweater or fancy top are suggested for women.
