Celebrity Edge

The Celebrity Edge launched in the fall of 2018. With a size of 129,500 and accommodations for up to 2,908 guests, this ships’ innovative design is something that the cruise industry has never seen before. From the Magic Carpet, a movable deck, to the private plunge pools in the 2 story Edge Villas you have never seen anything like it. The unique outward facing design breaks from traditional ship design. It’s designed to connect guest with the sea with infinite verandas to the terraced pool deck that offers outstanding views.

What is unique about this ship?
The Magic Carpet a moveable deck off the side of the ship will move up and down from deck 2 to deck 16. Passengers will not be allowed to ride the Magic Carpet between decks.

While on deck 2, it will act as a gangway for cruisers to get off and on tenders. Making it easier to walk directly from the ship without ramps and stairways.

When the ship is not in port, the Magic Carpet will used as either an extension to a raw bar restaurant located on deck 5 or on deck 14 as a lounge. For dinner, the Magic Carpet will become an alternative restaurant on Deck 16, with a theme that changes daily.

The Edge will have several new types of cabins including 918 Infinite Veranda and 16 cabins for single cruisers. The Infinite Veranda adds more space in the cabin by using a bi-fold door and floor to ceiling windows providing a fantastic view.

Suites onboard will have a fresh look too. There will be an exclusive suite area called The Retreat. This private, for suite guests only will have a private pool and sundeck, lounge and restaurant.

A first for Celebrity, the Edge Villas will have a second-floor master bedroom, large living room and two full baths. All will feature a private plunge pool.

Guests will enjoy the large pool located on deck 14. It will feature two martini glass Jacuzzis and for fee cabanas. There will also be a two-floor jogging track and a beautiful garden area.
