Viking Star

The Viking Star was the first ocean going vessel to sail under the Viking Ocean Cruises line. The 930 passenger Viking Star is truly an all-inclusive ship. Wi-Fi, beer and wine, specialty restaurants and some shore excursions are all included in the price.

This small ship will take you to ports that larger ships cannot visit. Stops in port are longer than average, with frequent overnights. There are many excursions to choose from that are included in the price, you may also purchase additional excursion options.

The ship does not have a casino and nightly entertainment is at a minimum. There also are not many sea days on these cruises as visiting ports is its main focus.

What makes this ship unique?
The Viking Star is a beautiful small ship with a Nordic flare. You won’t find over the top flashy interiors here. Staterooms are large and comfortable with the added bonus of heated bathroom floors.

Guests will enjoy the views from the Infinity Pool that is located on the rear of the ship.

Who it’s best for?
The Viking Star is not for families with children. The ship is designed for those who like to travel and enjoy a quite elegant atmosphere. It offers a wonderful value for adults who like traveling to many different ports.
