Seabourn launched the Encore in 2016. The 600-passenger ship is open and spacious with many rich design elements including mahogany veneer, arching columns and blue starburst Murano chandeliers.
Staterooms aboard the all-suite Encore are comfortably sized. The entry Veranda Suites are sized at 264 square feet, with a 65-square-foot private balcony and a walk-in closet. Need more room, at 989 square feet the Wintergarden Suites with a dining room and glass enclosed solarium is for you!
There are three dining options aboard. The Main dining room, and two specialty restaurants, Sushi and the Grill. At Sushi you can get specialty sakes and sashimi for dinner or bento boxes for lunch. The Grill has steak house favorites and Caesar salad made tableside.
Your cruise fare on the Encore includes all meals in the dining room and the specialty restaurants, cocktails, beer and wines (there is a fee for premium drinks) champagne, and specialty coffees. Gratuities are included.
What is unique about this ship?
The Encore was built to take its passengers where other ships can’t. Built to access remote destinations the big ships can’t go. The back of the ship includes a Marina dock with tons of zodiacs, kayaks and catamarans just waiting to take guests on their own personal adventure!
The Retreat is another excellent feature you’ll find onboard. The exclusive reservations only spot has a fee, however the cost is worth it if you are looking for privacy. Each of the 15 cabanas has privacy siding, a tv, access to the pool and hot tub and the bar.
Who is this ship best for?
This ship is a wonderful choice for couples and singles. Travelers who are looking for adventure will find it onboard this ship.
