Holland America’s Westerdam received extensive enhancements as part of a $300 million brand initiative. Completed in time for the 2017 Europe season, upgrades include a new bar, entertainment and dining venues, plus completely redesigned suites.
As part of the updates, new music venues have been added including the Lincoln Center Stage, featuring world-class musicians performing chamber music, and Billboard Onboard, rocking the house with 50 years of chart-topping hits. These venues join the already popular B.B. King’s Blues Club, completing the new “Music Walk” experience.

The Westerdam offers the first of its kind Explorations Central. A unique way for Guests to learn about destinations and shore excurstions with insights and tips from location experts. This interactive experience makes the journey more engaging, vivid and meaningful.
Aspiring artists can learn to create their own works of art at the Rijksmuseum at Sea. You’ll find a bright studio space featuring life-sized reproductions of artworks from the Rijksmuseum, drawing tables, sketch books, pencils, friendly instructors and everything you need to create your own masterpieces.
